Life is bleak for the moment, for the day
The earth moves around the sun

No other souls are around to hear me cry

Trace my name in the mud
Watch it freeze for a moment
Wonder if someone is out there
Who could hold my hand
Wipe my tears away during the hard times
Yet I know forever

No family, no friends, only myself
Only I can pick myself up
No one to cry with me
Only my tears in the mud
Only my shadow following me
