There have been many mishaps in the TCU program as of late. There has been someone using the bathroom on the floors and leaving their feces for others to see. They have left menstrual blood and their underwear on the floor. My roommate was accused of this, and I knew better. I knew she was innocent. We suspected another student, and I made the mistake of voicing my concerns to our lead instructor. Yesterday I found out that I am to be terminated from the program—for sending this girl some threatening text messages.
They have proof that I did it—only by computer. I logged into my 5th period class and had the internet up for job search, and check my email and stuff. I also had my class work up. My mother called me on my cell and I went to take the call. When I came back I noticed a couple of windows opened , but deleted them, not knowing what they were.
I know that I didn’t do this. Most of the students in TCU also know this. I am not that type of person. The girl who I supposedly did this to also made racial comments to me. A couple of weeks ago, I logged onto a computer and had my work up. She comes up out of nowhere and says for me to give her her computer back. I asked if she was serious. Up until then we were friends. I told her that there were all these empty computers in the room and I was not about to lose my work and log out just for her. She started making all these racial comment, “I hate white bitches. You white bitches have the KKK well I am creating the BBB”
Me personally, I hate ignorant people and I also hate racist people. She will get what is coming to her—Karma will always catch up to you. I just hope that she learns from it. I do have a place to stay, but am going to DOL to try to fight this. This is just Atlanta Job Corps retaliating against me because I created a truthful website about the Atlanta Center. I have no write-ups, no warnings, no nothing. For them to terminate me on my “first offense” makes me feel like I am not being given a chance, that they just want me gone.
FOLLOW UP
I went to DOL and they said that there was nothing they could do until I am officially terminated from the program. So techinically I am screwed. It's alright though, whoever did this will probably have a good job and someone will do the same to her as she did me. I do have a job interview tomorrow so wish me luck!

Hey there. Sounds like things are hard at the moment. Good luck with that. I'd just stay calm and don't get angry or confrontational. Then they could see that you're just trying to better yourself and you're definitely not the kind of person who would send threatening or confrontational texts. I mean, you're concerned for person who is leaving these things in the bathroom, because something must be wrong and they probably need some help, you're not trying to get anyone in trouble, but you don't want to become a target yourself just because of your well-meaning concern. Do you know that they know about your site? You can see how they'd be worried whether or not you were on their side and actually wanted to help the center improve or if you just wanted to criticize it. Maybe you can talk to them about the concerns that you have, but not in a critical way, but a compromising type way, like if they agree to some changes than you'd be happy to amend your site so that it reflects the truth.
Obviously I don't know anything about this stuff. But I would like to wish you good luck! Keep making beautiful art!

Job Corps I went to Turner Job Corps and even the staff mentioned horrible things about the Atlanta Center. I feel bad for you. I do believe you will make it because I have read your bio. You seem to always bounce back from the hard times. It is just too bad that TCU and Job Corps failed you. I know now that I am not going to go to TCU. I was debating on it but since there are disgusting people there, I have changed my mind. I will go to college instead.

What exactly did the texts say? Also, you can call your cell phone provider and ask if they'll let you have a list of times you were on the phone on that day, proving you were at least talking to your mom during the "evil texting".

da staff dun care about us n they cut off the hot water every nite. we have no heat on our floors n roaches r n da food sometimes. we have 20 dryers only 3 of them work.

Job Corp I just happened to find your post about Job Corps thru some random googling and I hate to tell you, but after attending the Atterbury JC center in Indiana (rated DEAD LAST-WORST CENTER the whole time I was there, and I don't think that ever changed.) for 1 year and Clearfield Utah JC campus for 2 1/2 years, I can tell you hands down....Job Corp is the worst kind of hell for white people...staff and students.
Forget about getting back in anytime in the near future, because IT WILL NOT HAPPEN....You can complain and call everyone you please, but I guarantee you, they'll make you wait at least a year to RE-APPLY to get back in, and chances are they won't take you back anyway.
You're story is the same as thousands of other white kids who got suckered in by some jerk-off job corps recruiter who made all the promises about how "great" it is.
Yea, Job corps is great all right, as long as your black or you just hate white people....and the funny part is that the black staff are almost as racist as the black students.
I don't know about the center you were at, but the black staff (pretty much everyone that worked in dorms as RA's) were the most RACIST ignorant pieces of crap I've ever seen, and they went OUT OF THEIR WAY to harass or get white students terminated.
I seen it a thousand times at both centers, but it was much worse at atterbury than it was at clearfield....but that's not a shock considering atterbury was 80%-90% black and clearfield was 20-30%, so the blacks at clearfield didn't have so many staff there to cover their asses for them.
I guess you should count your blessings and just be thankful that you didn't get jumped or beaten to within an inch of your life after you complained, because that's generally what happened to white kids who dared open their mouth to staff members during the time I was there...
AND THIS WAS 10 YEARS AGO.
If you think it was bad then, I can only imagine what kind of zoo it is now.
BTW, I'm not trying to say I don't like black people or that I'm trying to be racist, but I surely do hate niggers, and JOB CORPS IS CHOCK FULL OF THEM.
The only reason why I made it thru the program was because I walked in with my highschool diploma and I was only there for pre-apprenticeship training for a union trade that just happened to be a part of the job corp program.
If I didn't have my diploma, and I was forced to go to the "highschool" on campus with all the animals, I probably would've gotten terminated the same way you did, but thankfully I was in the hardest shop to get into on center and we only had 5 people at most at one time in my shop because it was soooo hard to get into, which in-turn kept the "rif-raf" out.
Well, sorry to hear about your luck with the program, just chalk it up to life experience and don't ever forget what happened, because I GUARANTEE YOU, the crap that just happened to you is the exact same crap you'll put with anytime that you work someplace that has any number of black people working there...and unfort that's not being racist, it's just a fact of life.
Welcome to the realities of reverse-racism sweetheart, it's just a shame that you had to learn about it like this.
